What can I do to prepare for the Canada-Wide Science Fair?

This question has been asked so many times. It can be nerve-wracking to compete at the National level. That’s the reason why Youth Science Canada and Canada-Wide Science Fair Alumni members created the Stepping-Up Guide to tell you everything you need to know before heading off to the Canada-Wide Science Fair.

As we gear up for the 2008 Science Fair season we will be posting news and information here and asking for your input! If you have project ideas, photos, websites or video clips to share please let us know!

The 2008 Canada-Wide Science Fair will be held in Ottawa, Ontario during the week of May 10-18, 2008. Ottawa will be welcoming over 450 students and 200 adults from across Canada to the event.

Hosted at the University of Ottawa, situated on the beautiful Rideau canal and a short walk to the Parliament buildings, the week is sure to offer a little something for everyone. This will be the first time the Canada-Wide Science Fair has been in Ottawa since the inaugural event in 1962!
