Science.ca combines rich narrative biography with clear graphic explanation to describe Canada's greatest scientists and their achievements. The site is visited by thousands of students from across Canada every day, often as part of their provincial school curriculum. It currently receives 15 million hits per year, and over 1 million unique visits per year. The web site is operated by the GCS Research Society, founded by Barry Shell in 1993.

The Atlantic Science Links Association is a not-for-profit charitable organization that administers Scientists and Innovators in the Schools (SITS). Do you have a science question? Well, whether it's a tiny brain teaser or a gigantic scientific conundrum, ask it on our Ask-A-Scientist page! We will submit the question to one of our volunteer scientists or engineers, and send you back a response!
